The venturi fertilizer injector is designed based on the Venturi effect (when a fluid, such as water or air, flows through a narrow section of a pipe, the flow speed increases and the pressure decreases), allowing fertilizer to be mixed into the irrigation system, achieving the integration of water and fertilizer. It has no moving parts, can operate without electricity, and requires almost no maintenance. The venturi fertilizer injector is typically composed of components such as valves and Venturi tubes, featuring simple structure, easy operation, and low cost, making it suitable for fertilization in the cultivation of grains, orchards, vegetables, and other crops.
The venturi fertilizer injector is made based on the jet principle. It is installed in parallel with the water supply pipe control valve at the entrance of the irrigation area. During use, the control valve is partially closed, creating a pressure difference before and after the control valve. This allows water to flow smoothly through the branch pipe where the venturi fertilizer injector is installed. The vacuum suction generated by the water flow through the Venturi tube draws the fertilizer solution evenly from the open fertilizer tank into the pipeline system for fertilization.
