Drip Tape Valve – Controlling Irrigation Switch, Achieving Zoning Irrigation

Drip tape valves are made of high-quality plastic, featuring corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, and UV resistance, and are commonly used for pipeline control in irrigation systems. They are often installed on the main and branch pipes of irrigation systems to regulate the water flow rate through the system or for zoning irrigation management.

Function:
  • Switch control of water flow. By rotating the red handle, the inflow or outflow of water can be controlled, allowing for independent management of the irrigation area.
  • Flow rate adjustment. The manual switch valve is not only used to completely close or open the water flow but can also adjust the flow rate as needed, thereby precisely controlling the irrigation amount to avoid over or under-irrigation.
  • Zoning management. In some large-scale drip irrigation systems, using this type of valve enables zoning irrigation. Operators can select specific irrigation zones based on crop needs without having to open all drip lines simultaneously.

Installation Locations
2 irrigation valves are connected to the main pipeline and branch pipe.
Connection Point between Branch Pipe and Main Pipeline

It is usually installed at the connection point between the branch pipe and the main pipeline in an irrigation system, used to control the water flow rate for a specific area.

The irrigation valve connects two sections of drip pipe.
Branch Pipeline

It can also be installed on the branch pipeline, allowing for individual control of specific irrigation areas.

Inserted into Drip Pipes & Drip Tapes

Sometimes installed at the starting point of a drip tape or drip pipe, it facilitates the adjustment of the water flow rate of a single drip pipe, controlling whether the pipeline supplies water.

PE Pipe Straight-Through Valve

Usually installed at the start of the main pipe or branch pipe, it connects PE pipes, with both ends butt-jointed, allowing water flow to pass straight through, manually controlling the opening or closing of water flow.

PE Pipe Bypass Valve

Usually installed on the bypass of the main pipe, the valve not only has a main flow channel but also a bypass channel, allowing for water flow diversion, pipeline pressure regulation, and other functions. It is commonly used in situations where part of the water flow needs to be directed to other systems or to adjust the pressure of the main flow pipe.

Irrigation Threaded Valve

Usually installed at the connection points of main pipes and branch pipes or various irrigation equipment (like filters), it uses threaded interfaces to ensure a tight connection between the equipment and the pipeline.

Drip Tape Valve

It is typically used for connecting drip tape and other pipelines. Straight-through valves are used for simple linear water flow delivery, while bypass valves achieve purposes such as diversion and pressure regulation.
